Who should join this group?

This is a very unique class designed for anyone who

  • wants to safely strengthen their abdominal muscles.
  • has been told they have Diastasis Recti but doesn't know where to start.
  • has tried and tried to strengthen their abs, but they don't seem to improve.
  • is 6 weeks postpartum and ready to get started back to exercising.
  • has a history of pelvic floor problems or urinary stress incontinence.
  • anyone who has a core 🙂

This class is a wonderful blending of

  • A book study
  • Progressive exercises
  • Introduction to Yamuna Body Rolling

There will be 3 lessons per week over 6 weeks. These include readings from the book, Diastasis Recti and watching online videos from experts to supplement your reading. Each lesson will also include breathing and movement exercises to complete. We will be using the book for many of the exercises but there will be other resources that are included, including Yamuna Body Rolling.


The average time commitment is 15-20 minutes per day. Ideally, you will practice what you are learning every day.

Each week, a list of the weekly activities will be emailed to you.

This 6 week-long program will give you a beginning foundation for building a functional core. You will be making a life changing investment in your body.  It will change how you look at all your movement based activities for the rest of your life.

How to Get Started

  1.  Order Katy Bowman's book, Diastasis Recti.  We will use this book as the foundation for the class assignments.
  2. Your payment (see below) secures your placement in this online program.
  3. Send me an email with the email address you would like to receive your weekly assignments.  If you do not live in the USA, let me know what country you are from and I will send an individual invoice with your currency.
  4. Body Rolling is an important part of body sustainability and restoring your core. Several body rolling routines will be included to incorporate better postural alignment, improve breathing, and promote a stronger core. I highly suggest purchasing the Yamuna pearl ball and a pump as a starting point. Better yet, purchase the whole set of Yamuna balls and start your Yamuna body rolling fitness program.
